The Battle of Italy vs. France
Watch, listen, and taste as the musicians – and cooks – of Collegium Cincinnati battle over who is superior in all things culinary and musical – Italy or France?
From foie gras to zabaglione, from Charpentier to Vivaldi, we’re going to explore the pleasures of two of Europe’s great Romance cultures.
Join Collegium’s Artistic Director Chris Eanes (representing Italy) and former Director of Choral Activities at Xavier University Tom Merrill (representing France) as well as the musicians of Collegium Cincinnati for an afternoon of food, wine, and fun.
Each guest will be presented with three small plates from Italy and France with music and wine to complement; votes will be tallied at the end, and we will discover once and for all which culture is culinarily and musically superior!
The event will be held in a beautiful private home and only 30 tickets will be available. Reserve yours now!
