Preparation
The Score Click the link at right to download the vocal score. Before the first rehearsal, please print it and put it in a black binder or choral folder. If you are having trouble downloading or printing the score, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Learning the Music The more preparation you do, the more you will enjoy the experience. If you are an experienced note-reader, you can sit at a piano and learn your part. If you pick up music better by ear, we have provided some YouTube links that will help with your part learning. Other Ways to Prepare Listen to recordings! There are lots of great recordings of Mozart's masterpiece available for free listening/viewing online. We have included some representative ones in our links box on the right. Read the Full Score Never read a full orchestral score before? Why not? Even if you're not a trained musician, it can give you great insight into what is going on into the orchestra, the solo parts, etc. Download one here. Read a Mozart Biography There are lots of good ones out there, but we recommend Maynard Solomon's Mozart: A Life. |

SummerSing Socials
SummerSing Socials are a great way to get to know the other members of the choir! From getting-to-know you activities, to post-rehearsal food & drink outings, to score marking parties, we're always interested in the social aspect of choral singing.
This year, the Young Professionals Choral Collective is planning our social activities. If you have ever been to one of their events, you know they plan fun, creative, and inclusive events for all to enjoy! SummerSing Socials are currently being planned; check back here for a full list as we get closer to the event. Some activities may be appropriate only for singers 21 and older. |
